15 Words That Will Empower You to Start Your Dream Right Now

Have you ever struggled to start a project? Maybe you have a goal or a dream and you have struggled to get the ball rolling. I know there have been times in my life that I have wanted to start towards a goal, but hesitated. During my time mentoring, consulting and coaching I have discovered 15 empowering words that will light the spark to get started.

And it doesn’t matter what you are wanting to start, because these 15 words will give you that boost to begin. Here they are

Zechariah 4:10 New Living Translation (NLT)

10 Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel’s hand.”

You see, we all start somewhere. Every expert was once a novice. The key is to not compare your beginning to another persons middle. My friend and mentor, John Maxwell says that we don’t need to know how to do something once we know why. The why will push you to discover the how.

I didn’t know how to break free from the poverty of the projects, go to college and start multiple businesses but I knew why I wanted to make that happen.

I didn’t know how to start my first company, but I knew why.

I didn’t know how to lose 75 pounds, but I knew why.

The key is getting started. Simply put, you need to beat your fear to death with repeated gut punches of action.

Start. Right now where you are with what you have. Make adjustments and build along the way.

What will you start? Leave me a comment and let’s talk about your next start.
